Koch Senior Living, a property of HME Care Services, is excited to announce the appointment of Dawn Hoeke as the operational Administrator at the Milbank community. Ms. Hoeke attended Northern State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education/English & Language Arts. She continued on to Valley City State University and North Dakota State University where she earned her Master degrees in Administration and Library & Information Technology.
She became an educator because she wanted to “make a difference” in the world. She has been making that difference for nearly 30 years in education as a teacher, principal, and superintendent. Her career goals have not changed as she steps into the role of Administrator at Koch Senior Living. She will continue her dedication to “making a difference” for those who will call Koch their home by building a warm, welcoming environment where friendships are forged, and life is well-lived.
Ms. Hoeke became a member of the Milbank community in 2017 when she married Scott Hoeke. She has three children: Faith married to Joeseph, Hope, and Justus Osborn, a senior at Milbank High School. She has one grandson, Abraham Greenmyer, and was blessed with three stepchildren: Mikaela, Jaden, and Kellen.
Her favorite things to do include spending time with her family, sitting in the stands watching her sons play baseball and basketball, golfing, and enjoying the simple things in life with her husband, Scott.
Dawn will be in Brookings at corporate headquarters, during an initial onboarding, and then in Milbank to take on the role of Administrator at Koch Senior Living.
